Taeva Cohen is a school-based health research and program design intern at HVK Children’s Foundation. She also assists with fundraising and some marketing tasks. She is a rising senior at Connecticut College, studying Cellular and Molecular Biology and Public Health. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she plans to apply to medical school. Taeva’s passion for health and social justice brought her to HVK, where she is working to jump start a new mobile health van initiative that will provide basic screening services to the children at our six partner schools. This program has partnered with doctors from UMass’s Global health program.
